@Calcio

well he said the arse fans lacked passion, he's not wrong is he.what a lot of people don't seem to realise is most players want to be able to win trophies, money also comes into it. if you think RVP will stay at arsenal you are mistaken. if city, utd, barca or real came in offering him a better wage he'd be gone.

arsenal aren't the formidable side they once were, without RVP and walcott to some extent you'd be well below where you are now. van persie must realise he's the main reason arsenal have been on this good run, why wouldn't he want to play with better players?

the days of players spending a decade at a club are slowly going, with the odd exemption. don't hate nasri for taking the opportunity to play in a world class squad and to compete for every trophy going, it's his career.
Say that to people who sang your name for 3 years will p!ssed them off…..he didn’t have to say it even if he believed that

well to be honest i agree with that.

File under b for barton.

huh?
He gets much the same treatment from us as Nasri got tonight yet under Pearce was our best player.

not as bad, there was a fair few claps for him at QPR.

further more i don't recall nasri kicking the fuck out of a team mate at training either lol.

I'm sure most City fans have already forgotten the hard years you all went through, but how would you guys feel if the situation were reversed?

Patronising much? We had years of it, as soon as Micah Richards broke through we had speculation every transfer window that he was going to Arsenal because he was a boyhood gooner. Same With SWP and we eventually lost him to Chelsea, remember? You must remember because Arsenal were too fucking tight to pay a fair whack for him. You like getting kids on the cheap. Kids that other clubs have spent years developing.

How do think all those clubs that Arsenal rape of their best kids feel ? Southampton must fucking love you.
The only difference between us buying players like Nasri and you buying players like Walcott and Ox-Ch is that we pay a fair price for them.

Arsenal fans-biggest fucking hypocrites in football.

The only club that has moaned about Wenger signing their youth players is Barcelona, and those twats deserve it. They started it by tapping up Petit and Overmars. In fact, when we got Cesc from them they had just tapped up and signed Van Bronckhorst at the same time. While their president was crying to the press about us getting that half-english kid from their youth team, they had scouts offering 2 of our academy players trips to Nou Camp to tap them up.

We paid top dollar for Chamberlain, as well as Walcott. Southampton aren't even in the Premier League, aren't even in the championship, yet signing a League 1 teenager for 15 million pounds + addons is poaching?

If you want to look at poaching, look at Chelsea and United. United have been threatened with legal precedings for stealing Pogba, and have had the president of Lazio publicly shame them for stealing both Macheda and Petrucci for nothing. Chelsea were taken to court for stealing Kakuta, and even had a transfer ban put on them. They were almost taken to court again for stealing a dutch lad last summer.

Wenger (aside from Barca -- who deserve it) hasn't had any other clubs even say a word against him about "poaching".

Just saying that we do the same for some of our ex players, its not special to Arsenal.

Surely you're not trying to argue that Arsenal don't poach players ? Wasn't Jack Wilshere at Luton? I know he was only a kid but why did he leave for Arsenal ?
Arsenal are famous for poaching kids. Type poaching and Arsenal into google and see what you get.

Wilshere was like 7 years old when he was at Luton, and he left to join Arsenal a year later because his family moved. He's Arsenal through and through.

Do you think Ryan Giggs was poached from City? He spent a year in City's academy before joining United as a child.

Funny story... one of our youth players is Guim Laporta, Barca president Joan Laporta's son. All these Barca fans were up in arms over us "poaching" him, but turned out his family just moved to London and Arsenal happened to be the closest academy.
