Samir pushed Barry for MotM today, second best performance out there. You can just tell he is absolute quality. I don't think we have anyone who combines speed, strength, composure and skill when on the ball better than Nasri. Top class.

Let the hype flow... Gosh, how I hate these fancy and always give me the ball players!

Your 9th post and all of them bashing Nasri. Have to be an Arsenal fan in disguise surely?

Nasri was excellent yesterday he needs to do that in the big games or tight games that make a difference - but people need to stop slating the lad and support him - he is blue he chose us over the rags and he is getting better and better

After the abuse he got at Arsenal he responded like a guy who was still a little bit in love with his ex girlfriend. He turns up at a party with his new girlfriend knowing that his ex is going to be there, his ex treats him like a cock all night and he finally realises it is all over and he is better off without her!

Typical on this forum. Whenever someone says something the majority of ppl on the forum don't like, he's not one of us. Basically, I didn't like Nasri at all when he was at Arsenal and I'm a little softer about him now that he's here. But he doesn't convince me at all.

Reason I don't post on other subjects is that I don't have anything constructive to say about those yet, unlike you ppl who, for the most, just have a ''top class player'' on every player topic, a ''we performed well or not blabla'' on every motd and a ''rags are sh*ts'' on the rest.

Actually, I may be tempted to post about Javi Martinez since he's the player we need and Milner since he's a lot better than Nasri. And he doesn't have the same hype.

I feel 100% exactly the same about Nasri. (thought I was alone..)

Didn't rate him at Arsenal, still don't. I hope I get over it soon

Also feel the same. I'l ignore the last part :p

I'l also be pretty miffed if Nasri needs a whole season to be any good. I thought the whole point of paying a premium for him was he was already 'adjusted' to the Prem and would hit the ground running? That's all I remember hearing after Spurs anyway.

Can we knock this whole "class is permanent" crap on the head too please? You know what above all makes great players great, consistency. Doesn't matter how talented a player is, if he isn't doing it more often than not, he isn't any good. Why can't people understand this?

Nasri is total class. You have to remember that he has come from an Arsenal side slowly collapsing at the seams for the last 4-5 years, which bearing in mind he signed for them in 2008. During that time, he was absolutely vital to the way the midfield linked to the attack and was core to the Wenger way of playing, as flawed as it so obviously was (coz of the total lack of trophies and ambition).

Nasri has come into a side which suddenly switched from a defence driven style to a possession and attacking focused force - having come out of a side not knowing what the fuck they were doing. I am absolutely certain that we will see Nasri start to click in the last 3rd of this season and completely click from next season. I know he was playing in the same league, but you compare Arsenal to City and the way they have played for the last 3 years - it would be impossible to compare almost any part.

Silva took a whole season just to figure out what the side was about and now he is apparently the best player in the Premiership (according to the media).

Nasri is exactly the kind of player we need at City - calm on the ball - still getting to know how is team mates tick on the field - and visionary as them come.

The ONLY thing I think he could improve on is releasing the Ball a little bit quicker....Holds onto it just Little bit to long! Apart from that can't fault him

Little prick didn't have the courtesy to slap the little mascots hands coming in after the warm up.few weeks ago I saw him drive past a bunch of fans waiting for his autograph.needs to start appreciating the support here.

Class game though.would like to see him do it more often,we need them in jan!
