Sami Nasri

The disappointment of his performance in the Arsenal cup game could be a positive turning point for him. Yes.. Seeing the first signs of Nasri hitting a richer vein of form in the Norwich match. I believe he will continue to adjust and improve.

The ONLY thing I think he could improve on is releasing the Ball a little bit quicker....Holds onto it just Little bit to long! Apart from that can't fault him

I actually think thats one of his strengths as he helps us keep possesion better.

Let the hype flow... Gosh, how I hate these fancy and always give me the ball players!

Your 9th post and all of them bashing Nasri. Have to be an Arsenal fan in disguise surely?

Typical on this forum. Whenever someone says something the majority of ppl on the forum don't like, he's not one of us. Basically, I didn't like Nasri at all when he was at Arsenal and I'm a little softer about him now that he's here. But he doesn't convince me at all.

Reason I don't post on other subjects is that I don't have anything constructive to say about those yet, unlike you ppl who, for the most, just have a ''top class player'' on every player topic, a ''we performed well or not blabla'' on every motd and a ''rags are sh*ts'' on the rest.

Actually, I may be tempted to post about Javi Martinez since he's the player we need and Milner since he's a lot better than Nasri. And he doesn't have the same hype.

I agree with you generally but I don't think Milner is a lot better than Nasri.
Nasri's touch & control are better than Milner's and he also keeps the ball better than him.

But Milner offer more crosses than Nasri and defend harder than Narsri.

So everyone of them has his own qualities.

And btw, before we signed Nasri I was saying that we can do better than him.

Nasri is quality. Very glad we have him and I think he will keep getting better once he becomes comfortable with his role.

Thought he had one of his best games at home for us on Saturday.

It took Silva a couple of months to start playing, and it's taken others a lot longer than that. He's already one of our most creative players. I am sure I read something a week ago which said that Nasri and Silva were level with the same no. of assists although that doesn't sound that likely

Nasri played very well yesterday, after a real shocker mid-week, but that being said the whole of the midfield performed poorly against Arsenal.
Wasn't a shocker though. He didn't play bad, he just didn't influence the game as we know he can.

Guess it shows how high our standards are now in that a player being unable to get into the game and do too much is considered a bad performance.

Well, I'm still willing to give him sometime given that his last performance was not bad (even if he didn't outshine Silva and Yaya as some said here), but I have just one request to everyone here: stop with the assists stats which, in this case, don't mean anything.

Don't any of you know that Dani Alves has 50+ assists over the past year, even though he wouldn't be able to put a ball through should his life depend on it, just crosses, corners and balls were Messi and Pedro do most of the job.

Nasri isn't playing bad, I just think supporters hoped he would have a bigger influence on games than he does at the moment.

You have to give him a bit more time he's played with arse for years and is adapting to new players
