Sami Nasri

I'm not complaining, but I don't know why we bought him? He operates in the same space as Silva, but he's not as good. Remember the way that Rooney and Tevez cancelled each other out at the swamp. And baconface had to leave one on the bench. This is always gonna be Nasri while the wee magician is at our club. They can't both play together without tripping over each others feet. And if anyone thinks Nasri is a left winger, you haven't been listening to him for the last 4 years. He wants to play in the middle.

We have to shed the idea that we have set positions beyond our middle 4 of CB's and Holding midfielders. Beyond that our fullbacks act as wingers and our wingers play in the hole in front of the deeper playermakers.

One person who I think is very happy with the transfer is Silva himself. Having one other player who can creatively hold and pass the ball is worth its weight in gold.

Well, I'm still willing to give him sometime given that his last performance was not bad (even if he didn't outshine Silva and Yaya as some said here), but I have just one request to everyone here: stop with the assists stats which, in this case, don't mean anything.

Don't any of you know that Dani Alves has 50+ assists over the past year, even though he wouldn't be able to put a ball through should his life depend on it, just crosses, corners and balls were Messi and Pedro do most of the job.

Some of you are really prone to count my number of posts but are less prone to read them and what I said about me not positing on other subjectifs.....

PMSL...really? Like....REALLY??

Here's a selection of direct quotes taken from YOUR posts on this forum so far - I won't call you an obnoxious troll but you clearly hate Nasri (not sure why) and you also obviously don't rate De Jong. Any other players you don't like in the City squad? By the way, I really love the way you NOW claim you are willing to give Nasri time!!! Let's see some of those statements you have made then, shall we? Quite a few digs to put it politely, considering your time on here:

Nasri can't play as a CAM, even if his life depended on it.

No wonder he is so overrated around here.

He doesn't have much passing skill and, as far as dribbles are concerned, he just takes at least 10 touches before beginning his dribble.

Now, let's head towards his game as a winger. You must know that he has been really bad there for most of his Arsenal journey. Even last season, he has been sh*t in 2011. And before that, he was also sh*t.

He also has had many behaviour issues and he looks to me as the most bad behaved player of our team, after maybe Balotelli. Even more than Tevez, and that's to say something.

Never the 20m Silva Wannabe we were sold. Just stop making excuses like ''he would be good midfielder'', no, he won't.

Class is Silva, Fabregas, Ozil and Sneijder performing for years and yet sold for a similar price than that crap.

Well, maybe that one of the reason he isn't taking risks and putting through balls like Silva does is because he just can't do it. I have watched most of his matches with the baby-gunners and France and I have never seen him create anything.

Moreover, Ferguson didn't buy Nasri because he found him too expansive and because he already had enough wingers.

Actually, I don't know why I am trying to convince some blind fans who overrate such a player so much. A waste, really. And I'm confident the truth about the player will come out soon and City will stop wasting time and money on him.

What 2009/10/11 form? Only form you can talk about is September10-January11 form, remaining is garbage.

When you don't have anything to be happy about in his game, just look at some misleading stats.

NEVER EVER seen him play decent through balls like Silva's.

After the ''Play him as Central Midfielder'', it's now ''he was being booed''. What next? Didn't get the dinner he wanted? Didn't get better underwears than Balotelli's ones?

Well, if Nasri could prove me wrong, it would be nice, but he won't.

Why does Nasri deserve a special threatment? Because he can do some fancy tricks once in a bluemoon?

Let the hype flow... Gosh, how I hate these fancy and always give me the ball players!

Reason I don't post on other subjects is that I don't have anything constructive to say about those yet……..Actually, I may be tempted to post about Javi Martinez since he's the player we need and Milner since he's a lot better than Nasri. And he doesn't have the same hype.

No more rumors about the kid? I really rate him highly and I would be pissed off if Ferguson got him ahead of us, because he'll do some good to their shitty midfield. And we only got Barry, Nigel and Yaya for 2 places, so it could be good to have him instead of Nigel who has been doing nothin lately.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Fellow Bluemooners, I rest my case

What a troll...

I bet he prays that Nasri doesn't succeed here.

Just starting to show why we bought him................still needs toughening up though.

Must say I'm very surprised how opinions about given players change following the fact the player is in your team or not.

I always found Nasri overrated when he was at Arsenal and didn't want of him, and don't expect me to support him over one of our own lads. And that was the opinion of most people around here.

The day Nasri signs at City, he should become a fantastic player who is as good at the winger position as in the midifeld and whose minus points become plus.

What if Rooney had signed last year, he would suddenly be considered as the best player in the league? Same with Ferguson?

I don't like them, and don't expect from me to like mercenaries who come and go from one rival team to another.

I didn't like neither of Tevez and Adebayor, and we saw the consequences of signing players with no ethics like them. Still apreciated Tevez beccause he gave something to the club, and if Nasri can do the same, why would I pray for him to fail. I think he will fail, because I have seen enough of him for years (even saw him play at Marseille unlike most you, where he actually was really fine at a Xavi-like position) to say he won't. If he can have world class performances (Silva, Tevez of last season type, Yaya Touré because under that, it's not worth it having signed someone from Arsenal), I won't mind coming on this same forum and say that I was wrong and I should have supported Nasri.

A part from that, I precised I myself don't think I have a relevant enough opinion to post on other subjects. I read most of em, and when I have something interesting to say, I certainly will. I can see coming the troll who will say that it's not what I'm doing here, which I wouldn't care about because I post after my own judgement of what I want to say?

As far as the Alves stat is concerned, some people still haven't understood my point. Basically, I think Nasri is really bad at central midifield and saying he is better there is an excuse for when he plays bad. Some of you answering that he has lots of assists, I just showed that stat that Dani Alves is the best assist-maker for years but I don't think he would be good in the central midifield, would he?

The time statement is obviously about the good performance he put up recently, which I didn't think he would, and my posts were prior to that performance. And I really was angry about how bad he played and some still tried to find irrelevant excuses, that are still irrelevant today and most probably will always be.

De Jong, Have I ever said he shouldn't be playing at City? No.

BTW, BlueGun just lost a bet. What Am I gonna get? =)
