God knows why he was taken on this trip.

It's a shame because I was right behind goal for the game the other day and Samir was by far the best player on the pitch in the second half. As I recall, he was the only player who managed to break down their back line at all (in the entire match) and he did it on more than one occasion.. just perfectly weighted balls over the top. Linked up nicely with Brahim via a few 1-2s.. he looked great, frankly. A shame that he simply can't get it together outside the pitch.

Not wholly a Nasri fan as he sometimes can be complacent, that said, have to strongly agree with this comment. -- +1.

Such a story you imagined on the same day he is doing club promotion event and 2 days after he played a game on a tour nobody thought he would even go to. It's very logical thing to make someone doing club promotion event while you're briefing media he is the **** of the highest order and telling him you'll never play for this club again and we'll wreck your career. His promoting presence would do wonders for our image worldwide in such circumstances. Not.

When we signed him it was a real kick in the teeth for the Tarquins, he was one of their top players. Since he signed for us he's been involved in 2 title winning teams and wo the League Cup which saw him score a brilliant goal in the final.

I personally quite liked him as a player but Pep doesn't fancy him and I imagine his ego has been damaged a little due to that. He came back to training last season with a new hair do and everything, just to be told he's going out on loan.

He's like many footballers, a bit too precious and full of self entitlement. But like I said, as a player I quite liked him.

Nasri was the driving force behind the 2014 title win, and as could be seen st games like Everton away at the end it meant so much to him, and he was very determined.

He scored in a lot of big key games, but France hanging him out to dry why he was playing at his peak must have been a blow. Most great players will have arrogance, a non-story really.

He was also a full STONE overweight & was sent straight to fat camp.

It took SIX weeks to get into condition.
