If this story has come from the club, then it is utterly stupid. You keep these things quiet, especially if you want to move him on.

No it isn't stupid - word soon gets around the football grapevine and after all it's hardly the first time Nasri's attitude has been called into question.

Its not true. Read the story. Its sounds fake as fuck. Its the same kinda make it up as you go story.

That folks believe this story is sad. Some dumb Journo put 2 and 2 together and called it 10. Sure we all know Nasri has had petulance issues in the past. Oh and for what its worth, that petulance was seldom at City. At Arsenal, and the national team he had some run ins.

The bloody journo knows we all remember that. Knows we remember the petulant sendoff against Leicester. Knows we've had of the investigation over his head. Of course it would be easy to believe a negative story about Nasri.

I'd bet my mortgage this story has no basis in reality. Fucking fake news. And I don't even like Nasri that much :(

It's called jumping on the bandwagon, Dax.

:-)

It isn't stupid. If he has an offer but is playing silly buggers milking us for a pay off then we have just told the world what a big shit he is and that our squad hates him. Now he is left in a position where he has to take the deal because no one else will want him and we qill let him rot without kicking a football again.

A lot of shit goes around the grapevine as well. It's been clear since last season Nasri has no future at City. There is no point briefing against him when you want to move him on.

I will agree to disagree with you on this one.

Isn't it already impossible to offload him with the drugs case hanging over him? Would any club be even willing to enter in a loan agreement, paying a significant chunk of wages, at the moment?

Could it be that the club are expecting a ban and this is part of a process leading to the cancellation of his contract?
Precedent set with the Mutu case had to pay Chelsea £14M

I guess we won't agree on this one so have a nice day :)

Understandable. Seriously, take what we can get for him and move on.

Definitely. I suspect he was brought along due to his contract and hopes to showcase & move him this summer. Surprising from Pep, IMHO, to have included him nevertheless. Squad chemistry is vital to him so it is indeed odd

What if the club is just sort of preparing the fans for the inevitable, that being Nasri will be sold for sweet fuck all, or loaned out while we'll pay his wages? I mean it's obvious that leak is coming from City, but who knows whether it's even true. Maybe it's just a weird PR exercise.
