Samir Nasri MOTM

Brilliant performance, we weren't the same after he went off.

Everyone played well yesterday. But Kolo and Zaba were immense, either could have got MOTM.

-- Sun Dec 16, 2012 10:27 am --

I'm not gonna lick his arse cause he had one good game, he's not done enough of that and he's still a shithouse, not forgot last week.

It's bad when everyone makes out he's the messiah cause he had a good game, it's probably one of the FIRST good games he's had this season.

He's gotta do it more, and not go hiding like he does.
He was out best player against Everton just two weeks ago too.

In the first 35min my MOTM was Joe Hart.

Forget attacking play, if it wasn't for Joe we'd of been 2/3 down

Joe made two good saves.

City missed 3-4 gilt edged chance's first half.

Nasri was brilliant until he went off.

More of the same Samir please.

The only reason the title could be lost!

Very impressed by Samir yesterday for the time he was on the pitch which begs the question why doesn't he play like that every week? He did at Arsenal for his last season.

Anyway Zaba was MOTM for me, stunning display. Clichy was superb as well. The little chest to Hart was class. Kolo and Yaya were also on top form.

I was very happy with him, he clearly wanted to make up for the United game to his teammates and was by far our best player while he was on.

Credit where it's due, Nasri on his day is fantastic and it reminded me of last year against spurs. Sadly I can't help but doubt he'll string a few performances like this together, I'd be very happy and willing to let him prove me wrong though.

He'll be pushed alot harder when Isco arrives in Jan.

Bingo, you hit the nail on the head there.

Nasri gives those half-arssed performances week-in week-out because he knows Mancini has barely any valuable replacement options for him.
You can't consider Adam Johnson, Milner, Kolarov or Sinclair as competition for him, plain and simple.

Once we have in the squad a skillfull pacey wide player, he then will have to fight for his spot in the starting XI.
If only we had bagged the deal for Hazard ...

He had a good start to the season, then tailed off, culminating in the derby. I think the way he'd been playing recently he'd have gone towards Yaya in that situation, taken the ball and laid it off somewhere, rather than making the run in behind.

I hope he keeps a bit more variety in his game, he's got the skill to really hurt teams, just needs to be a bit less predictable and take a few more chances.

Played pretty much as a right winger, which will always be his best position.

Did the same to Evra in the home derby last season.
Agree 100% tolm, he looks like a totally different player on the right, far more threatening. When he's on the left, he is easy for defences to read and slows us up by having to cut back inside all the time.
