Samir Nasri

We have to have a target for the boo-boys, and this year Samir has been chosen, therefore when he is playing, regardless of how he is playing then he must get stick.
That is the rules.

Nasri did play well TODAY. The problem is that he doesn't produce that level of performance on a consistent basis. Plus, his on pitch demeanour gives the impression (repeat; impression) of a player who has more to give. And because some people think he's short changing us, they tend to remember some of his poorer moments. Wanting to come off against Arsenal, the dangling leg against the vermin, the daft sending off at Norwich etc etc. Also, every generation of City fans seem to need a boo boy. It must be in our DNA. There was one of them on the pitch at HT today taking a penalty.

The problem is with nasri is, he often bottles or ducks out of challenges, the majority of city fans take great offensive to this. I also think the van Persie free kick lives fresh in the memory of most city fans and unless he scores a vital goal he will almost be remembered for the one who flicked a toe out at van persies free kick

I actually thought Barry was motm, but what do I know...

I don't think it is controversial to say that 2 good games in a season (both vs Newcastle) isn't good enough for a player of his ability (not to mention transfer fee and wage).

He needs to play very well until the end of the season or he will be sold. It's not as if he's just a new 'boo boy', Mancini has clearly not been impressed with him.

he was very good today, apart from his really annoying pirouettes he insists on doing, today he could be arsed, he kept the ball well, dribbled well, beat players, exactly what we need him to do week in week out, if he did do it regularly we'd be back challenging United and playing great most week's again because it makes such a difference when he can be bothered.

Sadly there were a few booing his name being called out pre-match and he also got a few boos when named MOTM. Although it's not nice to hear the fact is he wouldn't get any grief if he played like that most weeks. Hopefully he's taken note and his spell on the bench will kickstart him into being the top class player he should be.

It makes such a difference to the team, to Silva, Yaya etc. when Nasri helps the attacking movement and linking by playing well.
