Don't get me wrong guys, I thought he did really well when he came on yesterday, it just saddens me when they have that kind of talent and don't make the best of it.

Not at all.. I just think some fans have it in for Samir whilst cutting Yaya slack for similar issues (some worse IMO)

1/Drip doctors?..no outcome for any investigation yet.
2/ Sex scandal?..are you serious, do you write for the Daily Star?..a pro footballer can shag whoever he wants, no business of ours. By that measure half the league would be banned
3/ FF ban and Gallas comments ? Maybe he was at fault there, who knows, who cares what he did with FFF. Deschamps was an arrogant prick himself. Played his best football at City whilst out of French setup.
3/ Sabotaged his teams chances v Barca ? so do we get rid of Sergio as well for what he did against Chelsea last year ? It's not like he is a serial offender with red cards.
4/ Routinely describe as arrogant by City teammates ?..i'm yet to hear one such description from the mouth of a teammate, let alone "routine" quotes. In fact Pep just mentioned his attitude and support around teammates was spot on in recent tour to US.
5/ Little ambition and cheek leaving Arsenal? ...Well we know what Arsenal's ambition is i.e to make a profit. Titles are a poor second. His own ambition was to win titles and he has two in the bag in which he made a solid contribution.

Let's not forget how well he played in our title years, especially 2014. His downfall may be his injury record more than anything where he doesn't always see out a full season but he's no stranger there and it's not like he is chronic like some other players we have persisted with. We should convince him to stay if we can. He is up there with the best and can make a very important contribution to our midfield.
And to all those people who bag him, expecting him or any other player to behave like a saint, they should stop feeding into the bullshit narrative and get their heads examined!

It was interesting to hear Pep say the press officers told him about reports that Nasri was misbehaving and pissing everyone off which turns out to be complete bollocks and 'Just people getting at the guy for no reason'. A focused Nasri keeping the ball & weaving intricate patterns of play with Silva x 2, Yaya & KDB in a Pep side could be something else.

We've got even more deadwood to clear out, so there's still scope for additional foreign spots. Mangala, Fernando, Kelechi (He may still be classed as club trained), Brattan, Denayer & Bony. This lot clearly have no future with us & I'd rather see us retain Nasri and promote 3-4 of our EDS to the first team squad.

Taking loss of form, injuries, suspensions & players needing to be rested, the addition of Nasri on the basic terms and understanding that Yaya was under last season are plus points for City going forward.

This is a different Manchester City to the new boys on the block who Nasri, Yaya & Tevez joined. Back then we needed those players more than they needed us, but as last season's stand off with Yaya proved, those players will only be at Manchester City on our terms. There surely is no further doubt that Manchester City rule at Manchester City & will no longer stand for any bollocks at our club.

I'd love nothing more than for Nasri to be given a chance at redemption. If we're going for all 4 competitions as Pep alluded to, we're gonna need all the quality & experience we can get our hands on & Nasri falls slap bang into that category IMO."

If Mangala goes we will bring a cb/ lb cover in. That takes us to 16 even with Fernando gone the only way Nasri can stay is if Sanchez doesn't come in. Other than that he could stay just for the p/l squad, and play a handful of games, why would he want that and how does it give us value for his wages, I'd prefer Foden or Diaz to get those games Nasri would get.

Pellegrini was in charge, hence characters like Yaya were indulged thus he ended up looking like a beached whale. Let's see any of them trying this with Pep who has the support of the whole club and that includes Nasri.

There was a sense of purpose when he played pre-season and for effectiveness I'd say only KDB topped him. If you disagree, then tell me who else did...

Really, lots of folks here don't like Nasri's game and never have. And any opportunity or excuse to get rid of him, always appeals to them.

Again, he hasn't done anything at City so suggest the bile he gets. The fact is I was one of those who didn't want us to get him. I wanted Mata instead or Carzola. Both of whom were cheaper and on the trade block when we were busy pining for him.

And once he got here, his style robbed many the wrong way. Can't say I love it myself, but i see the value in it. He moves better than any player without the ball and seldom loses it when he is on it.

However, doesn't push the issue, which is the real reason many here can't stand him. They mistake his temperamental choice of seldom pushing the issue, for lack of effort or application. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Its just a different style. One that looks so much better when he has thoroughbreds like Sterling, Sane, Walker, Mendy, Jesus and Sanchez running the lines ahead of him.
