Sandro Tonali

You busy being DOF if not all that knowledge is wasted
where as you spout absolutely nothing of any interest whatsoever... you just hang around having a go at anyone with an opinion......

Are you able to form cogent thoughts or opinions on football or do you just hang around having a go at anyone that dare say something that upsets your delicate beliefs?

If you do Im yet to see it......

No to Tonali and Alex Scott, I don't see a Pep player in there who loves to make passes.

Yes to Anderson, 2nd choice is still Wharton for me.

Both suit our style. I would have said buy both with Bernie and Kova leaving, but O Reilly in midfield doesnt make that as necessary.

Have you watched Alex Scott? He’s the most city coded 6/8 right now in the prem. I’ve watched a lot of Bournemouth, he’s impressed me more than when Semenyo was there. Press resistant and can spray a 30 yard pass out to the wings like nothing.

Only downside is injury history but he seems to have gotten over that. He’s quality young player, would fit in this city team easily

Admittedly no, so I had to refer to the stats which dont look kindly on him.

Even though Bournemouth are about 11th in possession, slightly higher than Forrest or around Palace his passing game seems weak.

For a 6/8, 34 successful passes, 83.6% pass accuracy, 33.8% long balls accuracy and 0.67 chances created per 90 doesnt scream Pep player to me.

The defensive stats for him in terms of duels and recoveries are better, but for a Pep player, passing is #1 and the stats arent kind to him here.

Anderson and Wharton smoke him here, and its not like they are in much higher possession teams.

Whenever I've seen him play I think he looks like a decent player. Obviously I've not watched every game but I think he could easily do a job for us. Seems mobile, can get a tackle in and decent on the ball. He knows the league and will have some CL experience as well. When Newcastle win games I always seem to notice him more - he's definitely one of the better players in that team.

I'm not saying he's my top priority signing but I wouldn't be unhappy if he came.

we should be looking at the idea - he is behind Phillips the poorest transfer of the last decade. fucking awful
Nowhere near that bad, but he has become a little redundant with the rise of O’Reilly. Isn’t quite good enough to beat out Phil and Cherki further up and isn’t good enough off the ball to play in midfield deeper.

Can say the same about Kovacic..

Absolutely useless as a 6. Horrible as an 8 and just pops in with the occasional goal here and there.

Sound familiar doesn't it.. but people forget the trainwreck of last season. That Real Madrid game showed why..

At least Reijnders doesn't have that sort of track record either.

I lost it that game. Kova was bought to be an experienced squad player yet V RM he lost the plot - if a 17 year old did what he did, we’d struggle to make an excuse never mind someone with 100+ caps. Kova has phoned it in for the majority of his City career. But like you say, the odd goal, when he slips whilst kicking it seems to gloss it all over(for a few fans, at least)

Mad take on so many levels. If we’re judging players on their first season at city then so many of our past top players can be discredited.

On top of that, poorest transfer after Philips? We’ve signed the likes of Mendy and Nolito.
