Sandro Tonali

I'd treat Nico G as a new arrival rather than going out and getting a shiny new toy. His minutes should be double what they have been.
I do worry that Nico G will still have limited minutes and only so long that lasts. Bernie going definitely helps with minutes, he’s a freak he never misses games. That said we’d definitely have some serious recruiting to do when he leaves and imagine let’s say we sign Tonali and Anderson they’ll get the most minutes out of the 3.

Most of our midfield targets in the news come from smaller teams where they have more time, space, and less pressure. That won’t happen here, everything is tight in the midfield, and it can be a big shock, like what happened to Phillips.

Tonali, though, is used to tough, ultra defensive games from his time at Milan and even at Newcastle. He knows how to handle pressure and control the midfield. From those midfield options in the news, he just fits our team the best. Pep knows!

He’d be a great signing that’s for sure. Pep always wanted Bruno and Txiki wouldn’t do it, feel like Viana might get him Tonali.

Marmoush is on wages here that Newcastle wouldn't be able to get close to and there's pretty much no chance they get a Champions League spot either. He won't be signing for them.

The same Kovacic who allowed Rodri to unlock his offensive qualities and win us the league in 2024?

Them both being injured has done us more harm than anything else these last 18 months.

Kova started 16 league games that season. He didn't allow Rodri to do anything. Rodri has always been great at getting forward and then getting back - Villa and Inter examples.
