What I don't get is why did the media go for the "Sane has a bad attitude for both club and country" angle. Surely they were aware of the impending birth? I can understand them not declaring it if asked not to but to say he is being frozen out because of the stink he was creating given the real reasons makes them look either stupid or bad, probably both.Let’s hope this is the end of his troubles ...or at least the beginning of the end.
Costa reportedly took the Spain game off to be present at his kid’s birth. Absolutely fine. If Sane’s “private reasons” had been explained beforehand, it might have saved conjecture and negativity.
Tbf Brandt only came on for last few minutes in the world cup games. From those cameo's I was impressed, and thought he looked dangerous.
I like Sane, he can be brilliant, but he can be very inconsistent, giving the ball away.
Hopefully, if Sane's girlfriend moves across, he will be more settled and able to focus on his football.

He was class most of last season. Young player of the year.
He’s had a tricky start this year and this has been clearly impacted by his personal life.
He comes back now with this out of the way and performs and there’s absolutely no issue.
