If he performs how he did most of last season he can do what he wants. Like De Bruyne.

People just need to get off his back a bit rather than trying to make him the new target like Sterling was.

My post was more about bringing it back a bit having seen people still jumping on his back despite the current circumstances now becoming clearer.

Especially having a team mate who's gone through a tough period with the birth of his own child. Sane's a kid and human so it must have played heavily on his mind. Cant wait to see back on form and in action. Congrats Leroy

Leroy is pretty young to become a father and I could understand if he is struggling with the responsibility - I would have at that age.

I think everyone was expecting Leroy to spring out of the traps this season having been left out of the World Cup but is has not happened (and the expectation that Mahrez would start off really well also has not happened).

I hope that his City team-mates are being more supportive than his international ones. Our left sided attacking has been strong so far so we have not really missed Leroy but I cannot see Mendy going through the entire season without injury/tiredness so Sane's time will come.

Anyway congrats on having a daughter Leroy - enjoy it as they grow up too fast.

hes young,players at that age tend to come in and out of form a lot,consistency comes with age and experience,he has the tools to become world class(consistency is all he lacks) and he will get there, seems a lot has been aimed at him , maybe to deflect from Germanys short comings.

Whilst in sure having a child is a wonderful event he's earning a ridiculous amount of money and doesn't have the same issues most of us have.

This. The lad is bound to be bouncing knowing his wife and child are safe and healthy. Having just become a father myself i empathise with the emotional roller coaster that is child birth and the build up to it.once everything settles in I bet he’s twice the man he was before.

Yes it's as if some people, including some so-called City fans on here, can't wait to stick the boot in. Perhaps they have got bored with bullying Raheem and need another scapegoat.
