FFS give him a break, no pre season, 10 mins against Wham 15 mins away at Villa and already people are out to crucify the lad. It may take till Christmas to get him playing and on song. I can't see the point in playing him at the moment. He barely gets out of a walk, where the plan at the moment is all about movement.

If he was going to put him on, I would have subbed Petrov for Shaun and had Bellamy on the right.
