My protek 9750hd has finally packed up, faulty power supply I think.
Anyway I'm looking for a replacement receiver.
I've been looking at the vu duo 2/solo 2, but have some questions.
Now knowing I can't really get the answers I want on an open forum, it's like fight club : )
Anybody whos got any of the above and knows what's what any chance you can drop me a pm so I can ask a few questions.

I get lines for £45 a year and they are the best available with 24 hour support, so it's not bollocks!

Place in Stockport sells the zgemma boxes for £67 a time and can set it all up for you there and then

They might be £45 now but they weren't in 2013. Prices dropped off when the majority of HD channels disappeared.

I've just cancelled sky and was thinking of purchasing a freesat box, however because sky do not ask for their equipment back I can still pick up all the normal channels with the old sky card without having to purchase a freesat card.

I have kept the sky broadband and I decided to pay £3 per month to retain all the multi room and recording facilities. I am saving £75 pm.

I bought a preloaded android box for £35 and added some new repositories and can pick up all the sport and films I want. May eventually install a motorised Sat system.
