Sportswashing just be one of the daftest notions going.

These guys’ involvement and investment in sport highlights their countries’ human rights violations. It draws attention the places like Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and gets people taking and interested in them.

Hardly anyone was aware of UAE’s human rights violations before the Sheikh invested in City.

If they wanted to wash their reputations around their human rights, the best thing they could do is stay quiet, don’t draw any attention to themselves and crack on.

It would limit their spending, which might be a good enough reason if they disrupt the football market enough. Not dissimilar to LIV golf.
 
Al Nassr currently leading title challengers Al Ahli 2-0 away from home. Goals from CR7 and Talisca.

He may not have the same speed or close control but Ronaldo’s finishing is still absolutely brilliant in the box.

Huge game for Al Nassr to maybe win so they can close the gap on Al Hilal who dropped points as well as Al Ahli. After starting the season with two losses these points are vital.

It’s only on DAZN in the U.K.. Their only subscribers are boxing fans.

Nobody talks about the Saudi league over here.

Good game so far, actually better than a good amount of PL big games.
Another amazing goal by Talisca, it's unfair that he doesn't get called to the Brazilian national team.
