It's never over till the horizontally-challenged lady starts to sing. She's gargling some cough mixture at the moment but no renditions of 'God Save The Queen' just yet.

I thought they played well and knocked it around nicely. They looked in control for most of the game but were un-done by some bizarre refereeing decisions and just some plain bad luck. They had their back-pockets picked today and ironically by scousers. Who could have envisaged that ?

Having watched the game I don't know what they have to do to win a game. Even the fates and God himself seems to be working against them at the moment but that won't always be the case. The dice will land favourably for them if they stand firm and keep playing and putting their chips on the table (gambling casino chips obviously and not the potato variety coated in salt and soaked in vinegar). They have to back wee Davie with money and back Sir Alex's judgment.

They just need a run of games on a football pitch against football teams they can beat and it will all turn around. It's not rocket science !

It might take 2 or 3 seasons or more but they have to stick with the programme and keep faith in the management structure. The fans need to keep singing and get behind the team and most importantly they need to get behind Dave.

Save Our Dave !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We must be more positive now; remember that there is no other manager anywhere in the world better matched to United' and better able to deliver what they deserve.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

Surely they can't lose faith with wee Davey now. It's only a matter of time before his tactical masterstroke of asking Mata to play on the wing and lump diagonal crosses into the box pays off. He has also got some other tricks up his sleeve. He has asked Rooney to play wide and lump diagonal crosses in to the box. He was also urging Carrick to " get out wide" and start lumping diagonal crosses into the box.
He always gets the best out of Januzzi by making him play our wide and lump diagonal crosses into the box. He almost caught Liverpool by surprise when he brought Wellbeck on for the last 15 minutes and got him to play out wide so he could lump some diagonal crosses into the box. His cunning plan to ask Van Persie not to bother staying in the box but instead to get out wide and lump some diagonal crosses could easily have worked.

You' ll all be eating your words on Wednesday when he plays his special 3-7-1 formation which allows him to have seven players out wide all the time lumping diagonal crosses into the box. It will baffle the Greek team and sweep United to Champions League glory!
