I'm feeling very empty this morning; this has certainly taken the shine off last night's win for me. I'm wondering if I could have done more in the #SOD campaign. Damn.

Fairly sure clueless got 18 months.

Wonder if they will be harangued about getting an up and coming English/British manager?

Surely Clueless, Alladyce and Chrissie Powell MUST be in the frame?

I think we could all have done a little more, but in the end he just wouldn't give us any help himself.
 
'Tis a dark day indeed. He gave us good times. The reaction to United's second goal against Fulham was a particular highlight for me. His press conferences were delightful as well. Never, since Frank Spencer has a man needed to say so little to get such a laugh out of me.

I'll miss him, but I fear not for long. I get the feeling that wherever he surfaces, be it at Newcastle, Tottenham or Southampton, he'll be back to his City hating self in no time. He won't want us mocking him in front of his next fans and will send his team out a la Everton.

As for the club, they've proved what shithouses they really are. The old guff about "doing things the right way" and "not being a sacking club" have been ruthlessly shown up for what it is. The reason they've not sacked a manager for years is because they've had the most successful one for over two decades. They are now experiencing what the rest of football have had for years.

I went to the supermarket this morning to buy a few candles for the Save Our Dave Candlelit Vigil... fucking Scousers had bought them all!!!
