Just seen Rags on Twitter saying how Wee Davey has dragged them down in record time and he has to go. I tried the give him time stuff but they torpedoed my argument by quoting :-

2012/13 29 games played 74pts
2013/14 29 games played 48pts

Didn't realise he was that shite. We might as well stick a fork in him as he's done.

Quick tell them to wait til the summer then he can sign Osman...should hold back the baying mob for a while

Tried that but they don't think he will join them as he doesn't want to step down a level!

Try, "yes, but if you take out the 15 pts that they used to get for reffing decisions, he is only 11 points off the pace." Dark times indeed.

That's helped to calm them down a bit. Cheers.

Stop such defeatist talk!
26 points is nothing

Russell would walk into their defence. Good signing. Could save him!

That's worked. They think he's an upgrade on Camelgob. Phew.

He was indeed. Didn't Ipswich have Osman, Beattie and Butcher? Some defence that.

Kevin Sheedy sticking the boot into the great man too.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26614180" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26614180</a>

He had a cultured left foot but he's letting the side down here with this expose ;-)

After United's 3-0 defeat by Liverpool on Sunday, Sheedy tweeted: "All of you out there, Moyes was never interested in our youth team or players."

Sheedy also criticised Moyes' tactics, adding: "Punt the ball up to [Marouane] Fellaini - great viewing."

Sheedy, 54, said: "We now have a manager who wants to win games."

Now Danny Mills is at it. Rally round- this sort of rash speculation needs crushing.

Plus, this season if we win our next two, we'd have 66 points after 29 games. Which is eight less, they'd only be 3 points off the pace with a derby at the Fortress of Salford to come. Tie that up, with them being always stronger in the 2nd half of the season, they'd practically be a shoe in for title.

A lot of truth in that. The other 11 points are due to an ageing team, RVP being injured / falling out with Moyes and the "transistion".
Best if we draw a veil over the fact that they are defending champions and had an additional £80 million of "talent" at their disposal.
It's not Wee Davy's fault that he didn't give Zaha a chance, wasted £27.5m on the walking toilet brush and bought the wrong player
in Mata. Well actually ...

Donny would be an upgrade on any of their defenders.

Not forgetting Mick Mills, complete with porn star's 'tache and a certain Paul Cooper in goal. That Ipswich side of the late seventies/early eighties was some team; should have won a league title. Muehren, Thijssen, Mariner, Gates, Brazil (yes, him off Talksport!) along with those already mentioned.

Fred pays out to deflated Reds fans

The Salford bookie is giving anyone who bet on United winning the title their money back, at a cost of £200,000.

Fred Done, who famously became the first bookie to pay out early on United winning the Premier League, made history again today by paying a refund to fans who had high hopes on the Reds retaining the title.

The gesture will cost the Salford-born Reds-supporting millionaire bookmaker £200,000.

He said: “These loyal fans never had a chance of winning with United. This season the Reds have been useless, hopeless and meaningless.

“Anyone who has a bet on United winning the title need only take their slip to any shop and I will refund every penny.

“One of the reasons I’m doing this is, and becoming the first bookmaker ever to do so, is because of the way the fans were still singing for their team even though we were losing 3-0 to Liverpool. I couldn’t believe it and they deserve a team much better than that put out by David Moyes.

“They deserved a run for their money and they didn’t get it. They never had a chance. United are robbing the fans. The Glazers, some of whom were there at Old Trafford yesterday, need to get their hands in their pockets.

“I’m not the only one saying this but this team is going nowhere. I keep hearing about United being the best team in the world - that’s just wrong.

“They are not even the biggest team in Manchester and it breaks my heart saying that.”

We all know what happens when Fred pays out early on the rags winning. Now they will be storming up the league! #SOD
