But can Palace (Everton's game in hand) be relied on to continue their good work for the campaign?

They did their bit today, but I can't see them beating the Toffees.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

i was telling a rag yesterday about the SOD campaign and he said "you really are a bitter blue". I replied how could I possibly be bitter about something that is just so funny as Moyes getting the scum job.

its a dream come true let alone bitter.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

Have faith. Dave will once again guide his team to a top half finish as he always does. Results like yesterdays will SOD.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

Yes well done Moyesy. I was impressed by his convincing comments about signing Rooney. "There was no way Wayne was going anywhere. Not on my watch." The rags must be excited to have such an effective leader at the helm

Edited for accuracy.
Edited once more, to reinforce the truth. ;)

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

There is only one truth in this life " Dave is a football genius" beating the mighty palace at fortress selhurst shows a what a fantastic manager he is and He will lead the them to a stunning top half Finnish . Keep up the good work Agent XXX the nation is counting on you.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

Another gem from Dave, or the PR team, for him to tell us.

Moyes: You don't have to be the best to win in Europe - look at Liverpool

The Reds boss believes his side can take inspiration from their rivals' Champions League victory in 2005 as they resume their European campaign.

That's right Dave, I bet Madrid, PSG, Munich, Barcelona(?), are desperate to avoid United, if your team beats Olympiakos.

Re: Save Our Dave Campaign: SOD

Not great for Dave with Liverpool winning again (not brilliant for us also) but the fight for 5th is definitely on!

Woah there cowboy, let's not get ahead of ourselves, 7th is a perfectly acceptable target for the great man. You have to remember Fergie left the squad in an awful state, if Moyes had the chance to sign a defensive midfielder and a creative type, then things might be different, but as it is he was forced to buy a walking toilet brush and a creative player whose best position is where Rooney plays. Totally not his fault.

Not a bad assessment of their squad, TBH - a world class No 9, two world class No 10s, a half decent keeper and the rest is past it, dog shit or both
