Apart from the time he turned up roaring drunk to their awards do he's been a beacon of professionalism and dignity compared to 'glass your face' Gollum, 'shag your missus' Doherty, Racist Ron and the hard-shoulder shitter.

LvG has always been clever writing the right words for his farewell speech. He has done exactly the same thing at his previous clubs. He knew lots of rags wanted him out and couldn't stand the boring way his team played, yet he says the are the best fans ever. Like a pop singer telling the audience they are the best. Every night and wherever he is. It's called fake.
And LvG always have a war vs the media because his arrogance can't help him act in a normal way. Compare him to Koeman or Hiddink, two countrymen. Simples.
