Save Our Ruben Interim

No way they'll get rid. He's a good manager who's working with shit tools. They've failed to recruit well for years now and I'm sure they know it. The team he's inherited can't do what he wants. Guardiola and his first season, the team couldn't do what he wanted and he had a pre season.....I think.

This guy will bring back the glory days....

Doesn’t it really matter anymore? They tried everything for 13 years and haven’t come close to challenging for the big two trophies. I’m at the point where I think fuck it, keep sacking them as it embarrasses them even further.

I respect the efforts from us all over the years, but they’re a lost cause. We’ve done well chaps.
Really comes to something when even we've decided to cut our losses on him...'kinell!!
Hahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaa

Ur going to catch a few with that

It's early days but I can't say that I dislike the man. He comes across as okay and doesn't seem afraid to speak his mind.
I do think he's out of his depth though, and should have started his Prem training with a smaller club where the pressure would not be too much and he could feel his way through the experience. But it was his choice so he has to live with it.

I also think their issues are more changing-room based than anything else: they seem like a team divided - and play like it too.
What was all that about Rashford and one of the other rags trading blows recently? I'm sure I read it somewhere or other that Gash and A.N. Other temporarily put down their mascara and had a right old bitch fight after a game.

And this could well be Amoron's main issue, trying to turn the hostilities into friendship, and ultimately getting the players to work together.

Good luck with that one: with the amount of egotistical wankers he's inherited he's going to have his work cut out just trying to stabilise the bad ship raggy.

Our Ruben still hasn't lost this year.
He got a point when nobody expected him to. Stick with the plan. Once he gets them to start winning home games they could get upto 11th in the league

Sadly I think he is a very good manager, if they give him time and get rid of all the dross they have he will build a very good side.

He is far too decent a man for that vermin infested club.

Beat City
Draws with the dippers.

He's safe for the moment
He's more than safe I'd say. Yesterday's performance will have won him massive brownie points with their fans and INEOS. I bet he slept like a log last night. I can't see it but a win against Arse and they'll be shouting for a statue of him!

It's odd how they were definitely showing a fighting spirit we hadn't seen before from them. But I think that is mostly because they were playing the occasion more than the game.
It had been predicted by almost everybody that they were going to take an absolute battering, double figures and all that. But they were like the underdogs in a cup tie and surprised everybody with their passion and never-say-die attitude.
However, I cannot see it lasting. They have been a truly dreadful team for many years and that doesn't change with one game. It's still the same players, still the apparent unrest within the squad, and the uncertainty of this new man and the direction he is taking them.
Also, the dippers weren't at their best yesterday, and with Trent's woefully inept performance they were pretty much down to 10 men.

Enjoy it raggies, form is temporary, etc.

And how long is it going to take to get rid of all the dross?
