Save Our Ruben Interim

Did we dodge a bullet?
It's hard to say isn't it? The Untied squad and the whole club is a mess and Amorim is supposed to be a change in direction with a longer term view but he's getting roasted already such is the pressure to deliver results yesterday. In contrast Slot inherited a strong squad and he's the best thing since sliced bread now isn't he? Football 'supporters" are very fickle, look at the stick Pep is getting on here from some of our supporters.

Just remember, they talked to at least 11 managers before he got the gig.
Bearing in mind Pep, Klopp Slot and others were never considered for obvious reasons, this useless fucker is wayyyyyyyy down the list of good but not brilliant managers.
I know this is a save our Rueben thread but I think you've bitten off more than you can chew this time.

His pension pot will be sorted once he gets turfed and with the swamp situation being what it is should he decide to go for another 'top' job he'll have no issues getting ore with his credit in the bank from Sporting.

For the money involved I'd pop over to the swamp and manage them for 12 months.

They'd be even more shit than they are now and relegated if they let me do a season mind you.
You are Ten Hag and I claim my 5 pounds!!

Let’s watch them spend 150-200 million in January and wait for the outcry and fall out over PSR!! I am sure the Premier League and other club will call them out over it…

Oh wait this is Manchester Yuuuunited we are talking about ‘ere…cue Andy Tate voice!!

They wouldn't be THAT reckless to fire this one and start all over again, surely?
I wouldn't put anything past the incompetent wankers in charge there (ordinarily!), but binning him now would be ridiculous - even by their standards.

Give him a transfer window at least, Mr 25%. Let him rack up the debt like most of the previous managerial failures, and hopefully, just hopefully, you verminous bastards might be forced to go under - for good.

He should have kept to his initial thoughts and waited until the summer.

The two defeats since the derby have put the pressure on him now.

if there is ever the moment of ' oh what the fuck have i done' then this is it, if there was any kind of cooling off on the contract at united he would be back in portugal like a rat up a drainpipe, if results continue as they are i can see him walking at the end of the season or sitting out his deal waiting for the pay off

sitting out his deal waiting for the pay off
That's what most of them have done anyway, from Gollum to Amoron they've all just been going through the motions, waiting for the sack and the millions in severance pay that follows.
I envy them. I would love the chance to sabotage those cunts and be handsomely rewarded for it.

I think he's genuine in his beliefs, just wonder how far INEOS are going to back him. I think the only risk to his jobe security is if they get relegated, it's not beyond the realms of possibility.
