Savic and his all round game

I agree with whoever made the comment in the post match that he just needs to be dragged off and sent to the gym for some Micah treatment before his confidence goes from wobbling to completely shot to shit. Vinny coming back will hopefully be the best thing to happen to the lad because he honestly won't believe he should be still in the line up.

He looks keen, he's fantastic with the ball at his feet, can make some great runs forward, his positioning and stuff can be worked on and as with all CB's the partnership is key. I wouldn't be unhappy about him playing the odd game against lower league opposition alongside Kompany, but please not ever with Lescott, ever ever again.

He's a kid and gets the time he needs, yes, he could have cost us the game, but he didn't and the experience is huge.

Were going for the Premier lge we cant afford those mistakes at the minute. I dont think making those mistakes in huge games will help his development and it is not a positive experience.

We need to turnaround the game on weds due to his mistake. We could risk destroying him.

He's 21.

Average age for a CB is probably 25 in this league.

Even the likes of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling (I think around Savic's age) have made some far WORSE mistakes.

I was extremely harsh on him during the game (even used an insult which I hate) as it was heat of the moment stuff, I've been a fan of his since we signed him however we need to accept these things will happen for now. He's young and still needs experience, these little mistakes will help him in the long run however they should be happening at a club on loan, not in our first team. Don't get me wrong, that's not his fault, it's an unfortunate situation. Yes he's getting the experience but things get said which we don't mean. Let him go on loan and come back, I'm still certain we've got a top prospect on our hands.

he's fuckin 20 years old
And Balo's 21 (so is Savic btw), and Bale's 22. If you're good enough it doesn't matter how old you are.

Some people have taken my OP the wrong way, not saying he's a bad player or not good enough.
