Good point. Can you tell me..are we going to win the league this year and what about Saturday's lottery numbers? Although PM them to me; I don't want to share the jackpot.

Yeah sure Bobby isn't interested in English players lol try Hart Richards Lescott Barry Milner and Johnson for starters. The point is foreign players are generally better than young english players, bar a few exceptions. Our reserve and youth teams are full of foreign talent mixed with young english lads. If they are good enough Bobby will play them regardless of their nationality. The likes of Bunn , Wabara, Cole and Henshall are good prospects but can you honestly say they are more talented than Rekik, Suarez, Roman, Razak and Guidetti ?

How would you know if they will be better in 2 years. Cole and Henshall could become absolute world beaters. You cant tell how the mentality will hold up when they are young

I meant at the minute sorry mate. The English boys could well turn out to be world beaters and I'm sure Bobby will play whoever deserves to play. I just think that at the minute the foreign lads mentioned are the next step below the first team with the likes of Cole and Henshall in the next "group". Im all for English players getting a chance and like the idea of a new approach to match day squads such as a minimum of x amount of english u23s etc.

Cole scores a few goals but more often than not he has been poor for City.Henshall has some good spells in games where he finds he can run his full back but if that doesnt work he is likely to dissappear. Henshall is very like Petrov in that way imo.
Not sure about mentality holding up as I think that's what both need to change/improve more than anything else.

Until he proves far more, he shouldn't be anywhere near the first squad. The error he made against Iceland was the same he made against QPR, playing a forward onside when he had no business doing so, except this time he was playing RB.

Instead of sending him on loan & giving the lad chance etc etc. Why don't we just sell him & sign a young player who is better than him ? Why does turning Savic into a player have to be our problem ?
Or are we supposed to believe that a lad who lacks pace, strength, aerial ability & positional sense is the best prospect available in the world & we can't possibly get anyone better ?

I'd like to see him play alongside Kompany before making my mind up. All his starts have been in place of Kompany when he's been asked to play the dominant CB role. He looks to me to be similar to Carvalho, better suited to playing next to a physical CB.
