Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Think the Rodrygo 'swap' would've been an upgrade but I'm happy enough to see if he can improve on his first season

Wonder if we'll see more of him on the left, though. Marmoush + Doku have hardly been tearing it up out there...
Rodrygo is shit mate. I said this when we were first linked and everyone was wanking.

Bridges to build, but goals Sunday and against the rags would help!!

I think he will be lucky if he makes the bench. Matchday squad maybe.

None on the 9 that were on the bench last week deserved to be dropped to the squad.

Got a lot of work to do building bridges with Pep if it was true he was happy to move on and push for a move.

A peculiar logic, but I will roll with it for now.

When then am I able to say a signing is a bad signing?

Is it measured in seasons?
Is it how many trophies we won during their time and their contribution?

Lets take an easy example..when could it be said Phillips was a bad signing using your logic?

Have we found a taker for that waster yet

Oh no Savinho has to make up with pep now because he didn’t deny any rumors. If he wanted it so bad they would’ve sold him . Didn’t see the same with Bernardo

I would say contributions + duration compared to signing fee

Phillips was labeled bad signing at boxing day imho

What's wank about him?
He has a fantastic touch which is Mahrez-esque. He is rapid over 20 years and he can beat a man on the inside or outside, which is a good trait to have. He has a good delivery and should have had more assists.

He has looked very tense with his finishing and snatched at lots. He also been very unlucky with keepers making great saves.

His attitude and application has been little wayward. But, he's a kid and that can be improved.

I think he had enough quality to persevere with and he can become a fantastic player.
His touch is fuck all like Mahrez and he can’t hit a barn door.

Not selling him for 70 million is madness, he’ll never warrant that again

Lol so everyone who was adamant he'd downed tools and never wanted to play for us again, that he'd become some poisonous sulk is now angry because he's said he's excited to play for City. PR! Weasel!

Really sums this thread up.

It is PR, players have people to post on socials they rarely do it themselves. His move didnt happen so now him and his agent are doing damage control.
