We need to sell one more foreign player so that nobody will be left out of the champions league squad. And it appears savinho is the man.
The rw options will be Bobb, foden, Bernardo, cherki
And the Lw options will be doku, marmoush
Obviously foden and cherki can also operate from lw if need be.

You can see the talent is there and was expecting him to really kick on this season. I just wonder whether there are attitude concerns with him. Always looks fucking miserable on the pitch.

You wanna make it look like its a good choice for Savio, for Tottenham and do not talk just yet about your own target. You wanna make it like its a Savio preference rather than sorry Savio we prefere Bobb and Rodrigo. That way you do not alert Real as well to search for a crazy price
It’s an interesting one this as I can see why Savinho would want to go to Spurs. He’d go from a squad player for us to a guaranteed starter for them and pocket a decent pay rise too.
The club has always been open about players who want to leave being able to if a suitable offer comes in. This is why I think the deal gets done for around £60 million. The reported £43 million is a laughable offer and clearly doesn’t take into account the **** tax Spurs have to pay.
Personally I’d be sad to see him go. Even though he was poor last season, I put that down to the performance of the whole team and him settling into a new league rather than a true picture of his ability. He’ll easily get 20 goals and assists in all competitions for us this season which would be a good return for a 21 year old.
My worry is what happens once he is sold. Signing a top class winger only pushes Bobb further down the pecking order and there are no top class RBs available.
Well balanced post and I see all that but we never think what the player is thinking? He is thinking who is in front of him, he knows he won’t play as many games as last season! Playing for Brazil is bigger than playing for any club team for Brazilians! He will know he be the main man spurs will love him and maybe he will play on the left for spurs where his output will be better! Yes he could end up a world beater buts that football..

I’ll admit that I have not but he’s giving me serious Paul Pogba vibes. I mean this in the sense of Pogba at Juventus who everyone raved about as being some superstar due to his FIFA stats and YouTube clips. Look how he turned out in the PL.

Always comes across as a bit of a moody fucker on the pitch, someone will put a tackle in on him that he doesn’t like, he will square up to them and then go missing for the rest of the game.
He has some ability to go past players but when he has to provide that killer pass or finish, he fluffs his lines.

its a question mark for sure, particularly long term. But at the moment no doubt Rodrigo is better player than Savio. Rodrigo has much better shot and much better passing, including through balls. Rodrigo is stronger and has better understanding of the game + experience of playing highest level games as we do know only to well (2021/2022 been a staff of nightmares);)Have you actually seen Rodrygo play on a regular basis?
