Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

This doesn't make any sense. We were told last night that City don't want to sell, but Spurs were offering a price we couldn't refuse. Yet this morning, the fee is apparently less than Arsenal paid for Madueke.
It’s so that when we inevitably sell him for a little bit more than peanuts everyone will say it’s a good deal

Savinho is going to be a superb player when he’s in his prime. He’s nowhere near there yet but he’s shown signs here and there. I was looking forward to seeing an improvement this season and then take stock about his development next Summer.

This seems like a stupid move by us.

Not happy about this if true. Especially selling to that snake Levy. Minimum £70m to those cunts.

Of all the players we need to offload he isn’t one.

Top assister last season and looked our biggest threat from the wing against Palermo.

He’s only 21 and will only get better.

We should be clearing the deadwood rather than players who are contributing.

That twitter account indy guy that no one payed attention too but all of a sudden is a big source even getting credited by Ornstein has said if Savinho sold we will go for Rodrygo.

Who is it that people think we're going to replace him with?

I doubt we sign anyone, but if we do I promise you they'll be just as raw and untested as Savinho, probably more. And they'll not be available for peanuts like Savinho was to us.

This is madness from a squad-building perspective.

Shocked me this, I really rate the kid and think he will be mega. Spurs as well!

I hope we don’t bend over for Levy and instead play the **** at his own game and demand nothing short of £75m.

Would be interesting why he wants to leave after one season?

Personally I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Savinho leave, although I'd rather we didn't sell to them cunts Tottenham.

£50m is far to low, Surely we should be looking for at least £65m plus add ons to bring it in the region of £70m, He's only 20 and has alot of years ahead of him plus you've to take into consideration that other wingers around 27 years of age are going for more than £50m.

If he does leave, I'd be more than happy to see more of Oscar Bobb.

If he does leave, he has to replaced with someone of similar potential if we can.

I cannot help but feel the club will go down the trying to be clever road again, like last season, where they bring in £70m for Savio and another £30m or so for McAtee and will have broken even in the transfer market leaving them to parade the net spend trophy again.
It’s all about the net spend trophy these days with City. It’s why a couple of the red tops have caught up with us.

It’s an interesting one this as I can see why Savinho would want to go to Spurs. He’d go from a squad player for us to a guaranteed starter for them and pocket a decent pay rise too.

The club has always been open about players who want to leave being able to if a suitable offer comes in. This is why I think the deal gets done for around £60 million. The reported £43 million is a laughable offer and clearly doesn’t take into account the **** tax Spurs have to pay.

Personally I’d be sad to see him go. Even though he was poor last season, I put that down to the performance of the whole team and him settling into a new league rather than a true picture of his ability. He’ll easily get 20 goals and assists in all competitions for us this season which would be a good return for a 21 year old.

My worry is what happens once he is sold. Signing a top class winger only pushes Bobb further down the pecking order and there are no top class RBs available.
