Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

If this little sniveller wasn't getting any game time at City, I could understand him wanting to take a step down, but to agitate for a move to a serial win nowt outfit like Spurs and be one of Thomas Frank's bus-parkers, when you're being afforded plenty of opportunity at City, just hums of a weak mentality. I wanted him to stay and prove his worth on a consistent basis, cos you can see the talent in him, but it's clear he hasn't got the cojones. Don't let the door knob hit you up the arse on the way out, son.

I reckon he's seen Bobb in training and doesn't quite fancy the challenge. Or Pep has seen them both and told them that Bobb is the one who will be starting and he's seen his arse.

I dont see how he can now? How many other players have trained, played while being strongly linked with moves away and still turn up to the club when injured? Savinho though is staying at home doing gym work while according to Pep being injured? Come on mate, he`s obviously upset and Pep isnt having it so his move is being sorted and hes ticking over away from the group.
It wasnt exactly a good look from Savinho but the pictures of him, hesat on a pectoral machine which won't make a difference to a lower body injury. Rodri would still have been doing gym work while injured

If he stays he’s gonna struggle for game time which will unsettle him further. He defo won’t play as much as last season. World Cup year means he’s not going to want to sit on the bench.

Or, you have a wild imagination.

Balague is quite plugged in with Pep so Id say thats pretty definitive.
Well if he’s staying then he’d better step the fuck up now, time to walk the walk
Tbh I suspect he’s probably already burned his bridges with some of the fanbase after this saga, which all seems to have been driven by him and his agent

Plus the Rodrygo stans will be raging ;)

If Savinho turns in a similar level of performance as last season, then things could turn ugly quite quickly I suspect

I’d take with a pinch of salt as he trained at home recently while the squad were at matches/training.

Still think we sell if Spurs pay up, Rodrygo or no Rodrygo.

Would still need to sell 2 non-HG players if he stays. Although technically he's U21 so could be registered for the PL but not the CL.

I reckon Spurs pulled the plug. They've signed Kudus who was their 4th most expensive signing ever at 55m. Their most expensive signing ever is 65m for Solanke so it was unlikely Levy would sign Eze and Savinho both probably breaking that figure each, all in one window.

Big call from Viana if true as since the rumours started about him leaving, Savinho has been away from the club?

Viana pushed it too far maybe?
