Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Nobody at City is guaranteed anything, Savio got lots of game time, if he wants to be at a club where he doesnt need to fight to play more than that's not the mentality we need.
The best players at every club are guaranteed starts. Or pur differently, some players are more favored than others. It might be their talent, or just the Manager's stylistic choice.

For a good player, it doesn't matter. You are best at a team where the Manager rates and believes in you individually. Mentality has little to do with it often.

I don't think Savio has the speed of thought to make it as a top class winger.
Seems to be rushed when he gets to the money shot. That miss against Wolves showed that side of his game up.
I'm sure his game will improve with City, but the x factor ain't in him.
I'm not sure Rodrygo has it, either.
Wolves?

My feelings and thoughs here have been consistent all along.

I put 'no' in the poll above. I have zero issue with Savinho being sold for good money and won't be disappointed if the club can get an offer that makes it worthwhile.

But I'd prefer if we kept him. Over Rodrygo. If he is sold, I'd prefer him being replaces with someone other than Rodrygo, lesser known/proven, cheaper. Rodrygo seems a lazy option for me. Someone like Dibling, or another young winger.

Not replacing Sav at all is the only thing that would maybe somewhat concern me. I don’t think that affects Bobb's expected progress, and I think people throwing Mukasa's name, who habe likely never heard of him before Pallermo, are lost.
Whats wrong with Mukasa?

If we could clone Sane & Mahrez and make younger versions of them, I'd pay 100mil for each.

I remember the South American Football 'expert' Tim Vickery saying at the time how poor Savinho was with his final ball, in front of goal ,and other decision making and that he couldn't understand why City got him......not entirely wrong is he
