Kingy another legend remember the first time meeting him after i knocked on his door with a special delivery of city tickets ,
me -"steve king ? "

as he looked at me pissed wet through in my post uniform and burst out laughing.

and if i remember rightly the first man to say Barton would play for England long before he'd established himself at City.

I remember both of the posters, but never really knew them. It was obvious why they are remembered so fondly by those that had the pleasure of meeting them.

stuart is still tall if not so big:)

kingy was so dry, he rang me from hospital once and told me he was in having some tests, he'd never been ill as i knew, i said whats up? he just said "i dont know, i've turned yella"
he promised to ring me tuesday with the results, it did'nt come.

ffs city win something, you owe all the blues that have graced the stands that much.

wow, youve really hit home and made me think with that post. the more i read it, the more truer and powerful it becomes. changing the word 'city' with 'life' magnifies it even more. yeah, thinking about friends who are no longer with us stirs up a lot of sad memories and emotions. one love. one life. one city!

Going off the topic slightly - billybluehat - I remember a few years ago, got to be 3 or 4 years, going on Jordans (Not Katie Price - Millsy, NBC, or whatever people call him these days) website he had made and you made a comment about him on there and left your name as 'William B. Hat' - still cracks me up to this day!
