Very poignant moment that. And we looked like something off the set of Reservoir Dogs as we strolled down the Prom. ;-)

The throwing of that badge was probably the last symbolic act in Remembrance of a Great City fan.

We all felt it.

Was such a beautiful sunny day too.

Such a small and somewhat perhaps irrelevant thing to do, but one one i will always remember as it was done with sincerity amongst true friends of his on behalf of another true friend of his.

A piece of Manchester City forever off the coast of Scarborough.

Im raising a glass to Col now

We'll drink a drink a drink

Beautifully put Rasc, I have to say.

When Glyn threw that badge we all took a deep breath and willed it on it's way. Daft but true.

We were leaving Col behind in a way, but we wanted to have something there in the sea to remain forever. As a mark of him, and as a mark of how we all felt.
I like to think that we succeeded in that little enterprise.

Filling up now. :-(

Re: Scarblu

As requested by Stuart, here's a picture of Scar, Kingy (also sadly no longer with us, but just as fondly remembered and equally missed) and Stuart himself
