Newcastle in the cup we certainly didn’t give as good as we got. That and Milwall twice were the worst for meI was at Leeds cup matches in 77 and 78 and Newcastle 77 and Everton 81 and although they were pretty hairy at times,there were big City turnouts at these games and we generally gave as good as we got.

Yeah I remember that no problem with Palace but lots of Chelsea waiting at Victoria. Didn’t we then play Cardiff away on an August bank holiday Monday the game after?
