Never before we have been starting Mahrez/Bernardo behind the front line IIRC. Pep won't do that today.
I think we can expect Merlin's brilliant control in such an important match.
Weather lookin poor, did you already have snowflakes? Looks like.
Some seats will be empty.
Schalke fans will boss the atmosphere throughout the match I guess, that' what they came for, in numbers.
Make no mistake: Schalke is on poor form, but it's a free shot for them.
Embolo is on good form and can score, and our defense is shaken up. We simply have no idea about our CBs...
We have to be ready for a fight and get through this when
we want to be in the draw bowl on Friday.

Weather is OK in Manchester. Stopped raining. It was a wet night and morning but drying out now and forecast is good.
I don't know about the tickets. I checked last night and there were a few hundred seats left at the back of the top tiers but the game is no longer available for sale online. Sometimes it is misleading as they don't make all the tickets available on the Internet so you think the game is sold out when it isn't. Local newspaper says a crowd of 50k is expected with at least 3,000 from Schalke, but they might just be basing that on the crowds for the group games which were 50 - 52k. I saw quite a few Schalke fans in Manchester yesterday afternoon.
Stopped raining in Manchester and the forecast is good for Manchester this afternoon / evening. This storm is tracking over Scotland. High winds are forecast later but no more than 'breezy' around Manchester. The worst conditions always get the headlines but they look like they will be elsewhere this evening.

They are Marv, hence I have decided not to go tonight. 60+mph winds and surface water on the M6 make it not a risk worth taking
