I live next to the stadium and it’s fine right now, hardly windy here at all, rain has stopped and it’s quite bright, can’t imagine any storm will hit before the match is over.

As for Schalke fans there were four in the cafe in Great Ancoats Street and they were quite friendly I thought. I’ve always found most German fans pretty good ( eg Dortmund away some seasons ago ) , hoping for a good atmosphere and decent attendance (my guess 48,000 or so)

Sadly I am over 100 miles away and we are currently getting battered. Not worth the risk of driving to the game, so have lost a ticket fare

Looked for our game on a certain newspaper website and we're about the thirtieth story down, way behind the big story of rag players arriving for training in their flashy motors. Expecting us to be right at the top if we cock up tonight and maybe five or six down if we progress. Still hated and ignored.
