A bazillion kids making way to central UK to celebrate the environment would send a bigger message imho.
Most of the kids I heard didn't have a clue about the issue.
Just spouted clichés.
Would rather they spent a day actually learning about the environment.
I honestly cannot fathom how you can look at that today and think negatively.
Climate change is going to kill everyone on the planet - their futures are being fucking stolen by ignorance and they cannot do anything but protest.
Equality and homelessness etc. are big issues but this is apocalyptic and these smart kids know it.
Why would they “celebrate the environment” it’s being fucked for them?

Plus, they could completely fuck the economy up through forcing workers to take time off if they turned it into a longer term protest :)I think the point of the protest was that there is currently very little to celebrate about the environment.
I think younger people have every right to protest about their futures being fucked up by selfish older generations. Presumably they’ll be marching against Brexit next week ;)

I do suspect that these pupils are being manipulated by the liberal/left snowflake agenda which should know better tbf.

It’s all well and good commending the kids for their stance but how many of us are actually going to do something about it?
Not many I guess, we’ll all turn the heating up, have TV’s on around the house, get in our diesel cars or 4x4’s.
Very few of us will actually do anything and if things are imposed on us to help the environment we’ll probably complain about it on here.
We can all do a little bit, our part, but we just can’t be arsed.
Genuine question, when was the last time anyone on here walked somewhere instead of driving or getting a cab? Let’s say 2-3 miles?

Just seen some clips on the news, the idiots climbing traffic lights and the such don’t help their cause with the likes of May etc, just gives them an excuse to criticise. I know it’s only one or 2 but.
They will all be sat at home now after ringing mum and dad to come fetch them in the 4x4 because they are too tired to walk, burping away in the McDonalds they demanded on the way home and with every light on in the house as they play the PS4 all night whilst using the latest tech to tell all their mates just how right on they all are.
