What a refreshingly brilliant thing to see today the thousands of school kids protesting against government weakness on the climate change issue.

Establishment commentators unsurprisingly have spoken out against them but it won’t stop them caring about their futures.

Did anyone’s kids go?
Good for them.

Fantastic.
These kids will inherit the fcuking mess we have made of this planet.
See Mavis has criticised them for taking a day off school to protest about seventy years of damage to our world caused by her generation and which could fcuk the lives of these kids.

Wonder what the flat-earth climate change deniers will say about this on here...

Probably claim they have immigrant parents and blame them.

A quote from one young schoolgirl was -

“I don’t want your hope, I don’t want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic... and act as if the house was on fire”

Good for them,i have read a lot of negative reactions to this but it's their planet and it's good to have a passion at a young age, going on a demo is a rite of passage and one of them might go on to be the scientist that changes the world

They would be better off protesting about why the what songs do you shag to fred has gone.
The kids today deserve our wisdom as their rutting season is upon them.

Good for them. These kids and more of their generation are genuinely open and concerned about their futures and rightly so. It’s a crying shame that the people that have the gumption to do something about it won’t have the power or means until it’s too late. Any start is a good start though.

Good, let it spread all over the world, Youth in Belgium has been doing it a few weeks now and the kneejerk sentiments it raises among some babyboomers is just to precious.

That’s a very powerful message... sadly I fear it will be ignored

Then the next step should be:
-economic sabotage, preventing the functioning of the most polluting industry's, with the goal to force industry under the Kyoto norm

and perhaps, a drive to lower pension to mitigate the economic inpact.

I hope their teachers get fined for the little fuckers not being in class.......

As if they really need to be taught so much servitude to a system that jeapordises their future. The amunt of hours spend on schools is rediculous anyway and really mostly finds its reason in that parents need to drop their kids somewhere for the time they need to slave away for the greediest fuckers of history. The education is full of redundancy and simply not in the 21st century yet given the sheer potential for digitalisation in education.
