Days were structured, you learned new things everyday, play was encouraged, you were with your mates, everything you needed was paid for or provided by others, you could expand your own talents and nurture what academic gifts you possessed.

Didn't like primary , secondary was OK.
Left in '84 I believe a good few in my year are dead.already I don't chat to anyone from high school and rejected a few friend requests. Dunno why as nothing awful happened. I guess I'd just rather leave the past in the past.

Had an older brother who was as hard as nails consequently I had a pretty easy run at school, it wasn't that I asked for help but it was on tap.
Loved my school days, although I can see why some people hated them there are some grim tales on here that no child should ever face.

School was shit but those days were the best. Teachers were professional bullies.

School was great looking back. As were the holidays that came with it. Sad that so many seem to have had negative experiences but my school days were very enjoyable.

The main thing I learnt was to get through the day and survive.
I recall a friend once saying I should go on that friend's reunited website when it was all the rage and I told him to stop asking me to do that as I had no interest in connecting with anyone I went to school with.
