The thread was pulled as the OP had been enjoying a few too many drinks prior to his posts, and didn't think of the fact that he was breaking a contract he signed with his employer by sharing his info.
No harm done, no arguments and I fully understand the reason for the thread's deletion.

I for one got the impression he was telling the truth.

it was an extraordinary claim. that's not to say he was lying. I have no proof of that at all. but, for my own reasons.... I couldn't believe it in a million years. time will tell.

the funny thing about the Schweinsteiger story is that the same set of comments made to Bild have been used to report that he's staying, AND that he's going. he spent a lot of time talking about how much he has at Bayern, what a good club it is for him. quite a lot of people only saw the 'open to a move' story. but it was clearly more 'I'm not ruling anything out', than 'I'm looking for a change '.

Does that mean he had a drink and released some info he shouldnt have, or got drunk and talked shite?

It seemed pretty believable, I hope it was all true.

not sure tbh, might be BS but could be due to posting sensitive info due to his job, only corky or one of the mods can clear that up.

Whether true or not, for his sake, can no one post what he said. If it was true, I'd be surprised if it wasn't announced by the time of the first US game, so 10 days at worst, so maybe a bit of patience, as it could be worth it.
