I'm sure the Scientologists tried to get me to join them back in 1973.I was stopped in the street in town centre & asked to fill in a questionaire in some office they must have hired.After they had analyzed my answers they told me that I was suffering from a personality disorder,but they would help me sort myself out if I joined them & paid them some money in return.
Told them to fuck off in no uncertain terms & threatened them with "extreme prejudice" if they came anywhere near me again.
Stay well clear of any mind control religions/cults like these people are.
(The wife always insists that the Scientologists were right as I do have a pesonality disorder - I support Manchester City LOL.)

They are slimey bastards that are only looking for your money... they trick people to join up, then "tell" them who they are and how they can help you to change who you are for a price... now tell me why would this cost money??? if they are a church it should be free... they are an organisation that exploit people that are unsure of themselves... they take a healthy price to help people and some even call them sect or that they are brainwashing people... all for the sake of getting that persons money... when there is no money left they just dont care anymore for that person... have been talking to some people that joined this "church" and they are now broke and heafty in debt due to scientology...

Years ago I had a client who lived in the USA. I looked after a large slice of his fortune and received his credit card bill once a month which I paid off. One day I noticed that a few big sums (thousands of Dollars) had been taken and it was going to the Church of Scientology. I had a good look at the previous statements and found loads of other entries...each withdrawl was usually for a few hundred Dollars a time (taken several times during the month) and over the period that I looked at the amount being taken kept being increased. I calculated that over a twelve month period over US$50,000 had been taken from my client. I spoke to the client and said that I had noticed a worrying trend and money leaving his account but he point blank didn't want to talk about it. I didn't quite know what they were about and asked him for more information but he refused to say anything, he just say he was aware they were taking money on his credit card and they could take whatever they wanted! When I left the firm a year or two later, the Church of Scientology was still taking money out in large amounts!

I have a friend who has been invited to get involved with the Church of Scientology.

Anyone got any experience of this organisation.....good or bad?

First thing they do is get your PIN number, bank details, then they remove your brain and shag all of your relatives.
Is this a good thing?

They have an office here in Belfast and offer free stress tests, obviously you be found to be stressed offered help by them! Nice polite people but mad as fuck!

I have a mate that joined years ago. He is unemployed but they give him a nice house, loads of money, his kids are in private education, and he has two cars - one of which he changes every 3 years at the churches expense. He has to give them half his jobseekers though.
I think it sounds brilliant, and my advice to anyone would be to become a scientologist at the earliest opportunity.
