What are the advanatges to finishing top in this Europha league thingy with regards to the chumps league dropouts?

e.g. if we win the group do we get a chumps league knockout that could a much stronger team than those who finsih runners up in their group?

I think it will be a high scoring game that could go either way, I'll go for a 2-2 draw

if we win the group we get a 3rd place europa team with the away leg first

am i reading your post wrong? 'we would draw a 3rd placed team from these group stages with the away leg first' only two go through i think 3 went through when it was the uefa cup, am i correct?
