It sure does. I live in a small town at the end of a fjord myself. Lots of mountains and great terrain for both hiking and skiing.

Do you get many parrots pineing for your town ?

We did actually have a parrot which kept escaping from its owner a couple of years back. She even brought it to the pub one time! One customer was so alarmed he phoned the police, believe it or not.

We do have two salmon rivers here, but they are not that large. Last year about 30 salmon were caught, most between 1-2 kilos. The largest one weighed 6,2 kilos.
