Scotland - Does anyone go?

the East of Scotland persona and Edinburgh can be a little dour and seemingly unfriendly. Thats just how we are - a bit reserved in general compared to Glasgow and the West Coast where you will be their bestest friend one moment and chib you the next ;-).

Before anyone starts, only joking and I am as free to throw around Scottish stereotypes as my English friends.

You Scots wouldn’t throw stereotypes around.

They cost too much.

Footy aside. I think the place is outstanding. Not long back from Aberdeen(or Fraserburgh- Proper fishing town). The hills and shit on the way up, fuckin beautiful place. Yeah we have the inner city's etc like every ware, but fuck me, lovely place to go.
Should of gave me a shout am in Peterhead. Could o recommended some places attractions.

I wouldn't go that far but it is beautiful in parts.
Pity about the climate.
Scottish people are great, nothing like that horrible little woman.
Nothing much wrong with her mate. Her head and heart are in the right place even if she does have a jimmy crankie vibe.

I've never experienced any anti-English sentiment wherever or whenever I've been in Scotland, and over the years I've been visiting the country, which began with a family holiday in 1964 near Kirriemuir when the hotel owner baked a cake for my 7th birthday, I've never been uncomfortable there, just like I've never been uncomfortable wherever else I've been in the world.

The constituency I live in voted 63% remain, and our MP, Chairman of the 1922 committee that won't reply to any correspondence unless he is addressed as Sir, is a rabid brexiteer that was happy to vote for hungry children to stay hungry. You're not the only one that is pissed off with our so called democracy at the moment.
Struck a cord with me that mate as I first went to the SW when I was 7, two years before you. Didn’t get a cake though as I was stuck in a fucking tent with no water and a spade for the bogs. Loved every minute of it.

Ive been up there countless times over the years and always had a laugh with the locals other than two occasions which were partly my fault tbh.

Great Country and great people other than that spotty, ginger haired trawler man who couldn’t take a joke.
