heres something to consider for those who are dubious:

would your attitude towards sinclair be different if he cost £20m (perhaps with more than 1 year left on his contract)

Cracks me up when people say stuff like this, as though the average man is supposed to have a knowledge of players up there with what City pay millions every year and employ full time scouts to do

Yet you don't trust these same scouts if we buy a player you don't like - laughable really. Or are you not the average man?

Because we need someone like him but are cutting back way too much and settling for cheaper and far more inferior options is my guess

Can I ask who you would sign - bare in mind he has to be English and a winger. Also, he has to fit in with Mancini work ethic hence the selling of AJ, oh and also he has to be prepared to be a squad player as really he is looking at 10/15 starts and 10/15 sub appearances, and he has to have pace as thats what we lack.

So go on - who should we have bought?

I'm presuming as an average man yourself like the rest of us, your opinion of sinclair being shite has as much validity as the opinion of those who believe he is a decent signing; the same people you are ripping into?

I blame all those football computer games. You know the ones, where you can just buy any player you want irrespective. I think as a result peoples vision of whats reality in club football transfers is diminished. Mainly a kids genre of game if i recall as well?

For not wanting us to sign shit players? Why?

Why not give the lad the benefit of the doubt ! How many BMs slagged us off for "wasting" money on a shit left back from Arsenal.
Ring a bell ??

Not every player will work out in the premier league, At least Sinclair is EPL proven,

And Mancini's record aint bad with a success rate of signings, Is it just savic and Boateng that have failed to settle well?

Because I've seen him play

It's funny that I've watched every city game last 20 years and I haven't seen Scott Sinclair play for city

Ok. From now on no one in the transfer forum is allowed to comment on potential signings because we've never seen them play for City. Luke chadwick? Might be good cos no one's ever seen him play for city. Danny shittu? Might be good cos no one's ever seen him play for city etc
But your 'comments' add nothing to a discussion. Your stock comment "He's shit" takes a discussion nowhere and is banal.
