Scott Sinclair has criticised Mancini

At Last!! Thought the day would never come. Criticism for Mancini from somebody who has a just cause to feel frustrated. Not a departed assistant kit man, bugling PR manager or a keeper going through a poor run of form . Shame Scott didn't deliver more in the few opportunities he had but he rally wasn't given a chance.

CTID101 bringing Garcia into a Scott Sinclair thread. Is your first name Javi by any chance??? Getting back on topic, Sinclair didn't get a lot of game time but the coaches must have had a good idea what he could do from training, I know it's not the same as in a game but its a good indicator of what you can bring to the party. The fact that no teams in the top 6 or 7 came in for him is a good indication of how other clubs rate him. Good luck anyway Scott, hope you do fantastic and we get a few quid when you go permanently.

West Brom's Scott Sinclair has criticised former manager Roberto Mancini

New West Brom loan signing Scott Sinclair has hit out at the treatment he received from Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

Sinclair joined City from Swansea last summer for £6.2million, choosing to leave the Welsh side after impressing in the Premier League following their promotion. However, Sinclair managed just 190 minutes of action in the league last season, often completely left out of the club's matchday squad.

Mancini spoke out after the 24-year-old had voiced his displeasure, admitting that he should take the blame for the winger's lack of action. Sinclair has now spoken of his relief at leaving the Etihad Stadium, revealing the strained nature of his relationship with the Italian.

"It's things like that, in the backroom, when he [Mancini] said he didn't give me a chance, which he didn't," Sinclair said.

"I even asked him, 'Why did you bring me in if you're not going to give me a chance? You've given me no game time to show what I'm about', and he couldn't really answer the question.

"As a player, if you're not getting a chance to play, then you are going to see the manager and ask him what is needed. So I did see him a few times, and we had our differences, but that's football. Not being given an opportunity to play was frustrating, but that was the choice I made, I never kicked up a fuss. All I could do was put my head down and train every day.

"I now really hope I can settle here and have a great start from Sunday onwards, score some goals, help to win games and if I'm happy enough then hopefully I'll stay.

"I definitely would think twice about doing it [moving to another big club] at this stage of my career."

I dont see any criticism here.

It's implied criticism.

The fact he couldn't impress mancini or pellers tells it's own story. He was brought to replace adam i guess and he was half decent at swansea but he is just not good enough for a team challenging for the title.I wish him luck

Yep ... I don't really even think what he said is particularly controversial or critical of Mancini. He's said what any player who gets bought but doesn't play says ... manager didn't give me a chance.

Not really a criticism is it? He's entitled to question why he wasn't playing, beyond the obvious fact he wasn't good enough I think he was only signed to count towards the English player quota. Maybe Mancini didn't have the heart to tell him straight

So goodbye then Scottie...

SCOTT SINCLAIR has delivered a damning assessment of his time at Manchester City and claimed manager Roberto Mancini could not even tell him why he signed him

Agreed. If he'd have been worth the game time he'd have got it.

Wish him all the best though.
