Hopefully there is a loan fee involved so that when we do sell him, we actually make a profit. Say a £1million loan fee this year then £6million (or more if he has a good season) permanent next summer. Loaning out players for fees isn't a bad idea if they have long contracts as long as the destination club pays his full wages.

another 30/40 grand off the wage bill,better than a poke in the eye I suppose.

Obviously a sale is best. If we're lucky, he will impress enough to get a decent fee next summer. And we won't have to play against an ex-player with a chip on his shoulder.

I think this will end up being a good move for him. I feel sorry for him.

When people tell me we've ruined James Milner's career I always disagree, but when people say we've ruined Sinclair's career I have to just nod my head. A poor signing.
