Scott Sinclair

A lot of people on here need to lay off Sinclair and give him a chance FFS. He started off at Chelsea and didn't make the grade and then moved to a lower league side to work his way back up. He was key to Swansea's promotion and then had a good season in the top flight and IMO has DESERVED the opportunity to play for City. He is never gonna be a world beater and is never going to be a Hazard or Sanchez but he knows what it is like to fail to make the cut at a big club and the fact he feels that he is ready to play for City should be an example for all players to follow. I'm fed up of hearing this bullshit about players moving for money, they are not guaranteed to start and they are just a bench warmer. The fact is if a player does not move to a big club because he would prefer to be a first team player in a mid table club then IMO he does not deserve to play for a big club. If a player is confident in his ability and feels he is good enough then he will take the move.

Sinclair obviously feels that he has a role to play for as and we should be praising him for having the confidence to try and make the grade at a top club than settling for an average career. Same goes for Rodwell.

Excellent Post
Great post I remember after the QPR game that people were saying that Rodwell should be first choice and Barry better watch, he looks a steal at 12mill etc etc. Now he´s a waste of money, useless, average you name it. People are so fickle and quick to judge. Same goes for Maicon a few weeks ago people were saying the same things about him, personally I wasen´t to keen on Maicon seeing we have to great rightbacks but I will reserve my judgment of him after the season. Now for Sinclair, he´s has hardly played and people are saying he´s rubbish, how about giving him an honest chance and then judging him instead of comparing him to Hazard.

Disagree. If you speak to any Swans fans who watched him all the time they will all tell you, to a man, that he flattered to deceive. He wasnt good enough at Swansea and wasnt starting games there. He ran with the ball nicely but there was never an end product with him. I know Swansea were laughing their heads off when we came in for him.

Arsenal fans also laughed when we signed Clichy but look who's laughing now. You look at most top teams and there is always that player who is rapid I mean Walcott has a career out of being fast. Mancini can coach Sinclair into being a top winger just like he tried to do to AJ only difference being Sinclair wants to learn where as AJ though he was the best. Seriously even if it does turn out to be a bad move we should still be encouraging young players to try and make it with us and not slagging them off at every opportunity.

I think people are aiming at Marwood. Not the player....

He started 35 of their 38 PL games last season, why would you lie about something like that?

End product = 8 goals and 5 assists last season.

Brendan Rodgers described him as his "go-to guy"

I believe Mourinho gave him his first start at Chelsea just before he left, he saw something in him and Mancini sees something in him but ignore all that, we the fans obviously know better.
