It's over two years since anyone really saw him play, and didn't WBA question his attitude to training when he moaned about not being picked last season?
We have already 5 homegrowns to fulfill that quota and we have 16 foreigners for that and we can name 21 man squad MAX. Therefore despite Sinclair being homegrown he can't be registered due to limit of players. And in PL squads you can leave empty slots for HG players.kun said:You know what, I'd keep him.
For the sake of £2m/£3m and minimal wages, we may as well keep him here as a backup winger/forward.
With Negredo out injured, Lopes and Rusnak out on loan and City struggling with the homegrown rules, and Sinclair being available in both the Premier League and Champions League squads without taking up a valuable foreign slot makes sense to me. He has looked good in preseason and never really got his chance at City. He's pacy, he can finish. He's no world beater but a potential squad player. Unless he really wants to force a move, I'd hold on to him this season.
Fair enough, but I feel he's worth more than what we'd get for him.MeatHunterrr said:We have already 5 homegrowns to fulfill that quota and we have 16 foreigners for that and we can name 21 man squad MAX. No use for him, Championship is his level.
He's worth what someone is willing to pay. His price tag is hardly exorbitant and should be within the range of any other Premier League club, and most Championship clubs too, yet we await something concrete which tells us what we need to know.kun said:Fair enough, but I feel he's worth more than what we'd get for him.MeatHunterrr said:We have already 5 homegrowns to fulfill that quota and we have 16 foreigners for that and we can name 21 man squad MAX. Those "minimal" wages will be about £2 million per year plus the £3 million we should get for a transfer. That £5 million could be used elsewhere.kun said:Fair enough, but I feel he's worth more than what we'd get for him.MeatHunterrr said:We have already 5 homegrowns to fulfill that quota and we have 16 foreigners for that and we can name 21 man squad MAX.
