Scott Sinclair

I don't understand the ridiculing Sinclair gets on here.

Fair enough he's not at our level, but he's still a good player.

He was very good at Swansea and was a big part of them getting promoted and staying up.

If we sell him for £3 million, considering Championship strikers are going for £10 million, that's pretty poor business.

we are terrible at selling players though, we must reek of desperation or something (commence agenda theories).

Should keep him in the squad for this season atleast - he's looked good in preseason and will fit into our home grown/English quota we need in CL and prem this year.

He's obviously not going to be first choice, but will get the odd game and could do a decent job in the CL against teams like Plzen or CSKA. If he gets a few games, his price goes up which is a win win situation for us.

whatever bid we get for him, sell fast. 1, 2 or 3 million doesn't make much difference anyway.

This! Just like with Rodwell, i see no reason to ship him for chips, if we can play them just a little bit this year, and hope for them to develop a bit, we should be selling "english talent" the same way we buy them.

At least he appears to be doing his best to show himself useful potentially for other clubs. I wish one or two others would take note and do the same.

Fair play to him though, his goal is still the best I've seen this pre-season.

Can't fault his effort this pre-season though, but I still don't think he's of the quality we need, so I reckon a move for a decent fee would be best all round. He needs to find his level & kickstart his career again.

He actually hasn't been too bad this pre season. I'd keep him as a squad player for sure

He might not be our level and most of that mentality comes with his price tag,but to be fair to him he never really got any chance with us ,he has played 190 minutes for us which is not 3 complete matches this excludes preseason games, good teams make average players look better and he is above average for sure,,he's look pretty decent in preseason, and considering our budget and squad restrictions in cl,we should keep him,we did find it difficult last season at tyms especially when nasri and Silva were missing,he's got pace and can finish so I think we should keep him, selling him for a mediocre 3 odd milion would be pointLess without a replacement
