Fuck no. This Navas bashing is getting ridiculous. Scott Sinclair ffs, he'd be lucky to get a start for the EDS

Why ridiculous ? Navas has done very little to justify a position on the bench, not suggesting Scott Sinclair is the answer but maybe one of the EDS lads needs a chance. Navas has never terrorised any defender and his crossing hits the first man much of the time.

Very little? Six goals and 13 assists last season. This season 1 goal and 4 assists in 7 appearances! You haven't got a clue have you.

If that is not good enough for squad player, then I don't know what is. He is not a KEY player, he is SQUAD player. Those thats from squad player is excellent I would say. Very good player to have to come off the bench in matches.

And that's why he should never start away from home. Impact sub when defenders are tiring towards the end of matches and it could be pivotal (remember Fulham away last season?) Perhaps an occasional start in home matches, where MP wants a bit of width.

Check Adam johnsons stats and I'm sure they're better. Navas was supposed to be an upgrade on Johnson who was homegrown and no where near the best winger in the premier league. Navas does very little when played from the start, he rarely takes his man on and I couldn't honestly say he's an improvement on Adam Johnson.

Agree with what you said but the occasional start role in a couple of home matches or a last 20 mins should be left for an EDS lad to fit in a first team environment, Not a World Cup winner who's best years are clearly behind him? The EDS lad has a chance of improving and becoming the sort of prospect we want to see.

If it's a straight up choice between him and Navas at the moment, I'd probably pick him.

Navas is the appendix of the City team. People are sure that he probably did something worthwhile in the Ice Age but nobody is really sure what that is and it can be removed without anybody noticing.
